Ear Mountain is an experiment in epistolary prose. Every so often there will be a letter up here, addressed to one particular subscriber but meant as a kind of exploratory essay for both the named recipient and all the other people reading. Maybe another way of putting it is that this is a newsletter interested in correspondence(s).
Ear Mountain is called Ear Mountain after this mountain near Choteau, MT, which I spent a lot of time looking at in the fall of 2018.
